How I picked my surgeon

Updated: Jun 3, 2022

Yelp

It started with Yelp! I surveyed Tucson and Phoenix for plastic surgeons with good reviews on Yelp. I was not too impressed with what I found. I looked into California since I'm from San Diego and have family there. From there I narrowed my search to plastic surgeons in Los Angeles and the one surgeon that stuck out to me the most was in Beverly Hills.

Dr. Eugene Kim had nothing, but positive reviews. I crossed checked the reviews with other avenues.

Instagram

I hopped onto Dr. Kim's Instagram and loved what I saw. How could high profile look so natural? The client photos and one year follow ups were reassuring. I was impressed with the results. I still felt like I wanted raw insight and not something purposely fashioned to be posted on social media. This led me to the discovery of realself.com.

Realself

This was the cherry on top. Realself sealed the deal. Using the searchable database I found Dr. Kim. Again, nothing but positive reviews. Patients reviewed their entire experiences from their initial contact with consultation and until surgery date and beyond. Reviews were especially positive among the nursing staff, which was comforting. The one review that stuck out to me was the out of state patient. This is what gave me confidence in deciding to get breast augmentation as an out of state patient of Dr Kim. Besides the reviews on Realself, I also noticed the credentials of Dr. Kim, who is a double board certified plastic surgeon. Not all surgeons who perform breast augmentation are board certified or board eligible.

All the boxes were checked.

  • Proven results

  • Happy patients

  • Credible surgeon
